Original character homes can be found on mature, tree lined streets throughout Caswell Hill.
More recently, city planners have been working in consultation with area residents to develop a South Caswell Concept Plan. A plan which involves the removal of the Saskatoon bus barns would see two square blocks completely redeveloped to include a number of affordable housing initiatives, some new commercial space and a public park about 65,000 square feet in size. The Caswell Hill area is home to Caswell School which provides instruction to children in kindergarten to grade eight and Bedford Road Collegiate for students in grade nine through grade twelve. Both schools are in the public system. Ashworth Holmes Park is the area green space, with well-treed picnic areas and lit pathways. At just over ten acres in size it provides the residents with many recreational opportunities. Statistics;
