Exhibition is mostly a residential neighborhood with roughly half of its homes being single-family houses and the balance mainly low rise rental apartments and apartment style condominiums. This area is one of the more affordable in the East side and conducive for first time home buyers.
Located in central Saskatoon on the bank of the South Saskatchewan River, the area has little commercial development but the downtown Saskatoon is the closest retail area. The area is also home to Prairieland Park, otherwise known as the exhibition grounds where Saskatoon holds its annual fair each summer and numerous trade shows throughout the course of the year. Exhibition has one school; St. Frances in the catholic system. The area has approximately seven acres of green space but its proximity to the river bank and the endless trails give you plenty of opportunity to get out and explore. These trails also serve as a link to other parts of the city if you prefer the "road less traveled". Statistics;
