Westview Heights
Westview is a mostly residential neighbourhood located towards the northwest edge of Saskatoon. Over half of its development occurred during the 1960′s but nearly two hundred homes have been built in the area over the last ten years. Single-family detached houses make up the majority of the housing stock with the balance being two-unit dwellings and about a dozen apartment units.
Westview has one commercial area offering convenience items. The closest major shopping centre is Confederation Park Mall, which can be reached by car in just a few minutes most days.
There is only one school in this neighbourhood, that being Caroline Robins, a public elementary school. Students in the catholic system are taken to other areas by bus.
Westview residents enjoy more than thirty acres of green space across three public parks. Available recreational amenities include baseball, basketball and outdoor soccer facilities, playgrounds, outdoor skating rinks, a toboggan hill, horseshoes, walking paths and a paddling pool.
